Frequently asked questions.
When should I run two filters?
Always, if possible. Running a pre and post pump filter setup not only saves your injectors, but also your pump. (It’s cheap insurance to run a pre-filter 100micron setup.) At little to virtually no pressure loss, it’s almost a no brainer. Most in-tank setups have pre filters off the pump itself. In this instance a single post pump inline filter is recommended.
These filters are safe for which fuel?
Both our Stainless Steel and Microglass filters are safe for pump gas, ethanol, methanol, race gas, etc.
Who needs a fuel filter?
Everyone who wants to protect their injectors and in turn their engine. These in-line filters can be installed on stock vehicles to heavily modified vehicles.
How often should I replace my fuel filter?
We recommend you check your fuel filter yearly and replace your Microglass elements. Microglass elements have the best filtration, but are not able to be cleaned. Stainless steel elements can be cleaned. Wash with warm water and allow them to completely dry before reinstallation.
